Location: the hotel was just next door to subway station, 2 subway lines and the Asakusa area, and 7-11 convenience store. The breakfast was very very good and sensational for what was on offer with rolls and soft boiled eggs, for instance...
Well, the views were bad here.

I had really great time here.
The hotel was fancy and fairly clean, had excellant views of the Tokyo Skytree and skyline. The property was in a very central setting near the Kuramae subway station. Plus it was 5 mins drive from Shinji Pond.

Some parts shine, others fall flat
The rooftop onsen offered fine views of the Sumida river and Tokyo Skytree, especially magical at sunrise and after dark. The location was a stone's throw from Senso-ji Temple and nearby shopping streets.
While the hotel features great amenities, it felt overly compact was nice. I encountered some difficulties with the self check-in machines during my arrival.

It's not perfect, but It's nice
A very cozy stay with friendly staff. The rooftop onsen was a highlight after long days exploring, and the location was close to convenience stores and the train. Although the room was snug, it was well-equipped and clean. The breakfast was decent, yet expect lines during busy hours.

I appreciated the cleanliness and attention to detail at Apa Hotel Asakusa Kuramae. The bed offered really good comfort. I loved having a drinkable water supply in the bathroom, which eliminated the need for bottled water. The hotel's onsen was a nice retreat after exploring the city, though it got pretty bustling during peak times. Staff members were helpful. One even gave me a map to Senso-ji Temple. The self-check-in process was frustrating. It took nearly an hour due to issues with the kiosk scanning passports. Space is limited in the rooms. There were no drawers or shelves available for clothing, just a closet. The laundry situation was a hassle. Only one washer and dryer for the entire hotel caused delays.

The location is very convenient.

The entrance lacks a proper walkway. Rooms are seriously cramped, leaving little space for anything beyond the bed. Only two small bottles of water were provided for a five-night stay, and the bathroom amenities were missing key items like lotion.

comfortable bed
Window looked into brick wall, nowhere to put luggage, bedding only suited to cool weather and it was hot.

Very good modern hotel with very good service and facilities. Very close to the shrine and markets as well as the Asahi building. Very close to a subway station and close to the Ginza line. Food and market district.
Rooms are a bit small but manageable,
